OpenSquilla 0.5.7: document annotations, Project Workbench, and video generation
🦐 OpenSquilla 0.5.7 adds document annotations, richer Project workspaces, interactive visualizations, and video generation, while further improving long sessions and Desktop reliability.
📝 Documents and annotations — preview and annotate HTML, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel from Workbench. Send selected changes to the Agent while keeping published versions separate from working files. HTML element selection requires Desktop.
🗂️ Project Workbench — open or create Projects, initialize Project instructions with /init, and work across file, terminal, and side-conversation panels. Instructions are read from the selected Project’s AGENTS.md at the start of each turn.
💬 Chats and visualizations — search conversation history with Ctrl/Cmd+F, use interactive widgets and Mermaid diagrams, and follow richer streaming Markdown responses.
🎬 Video generation — configure supported TokenRhythm or OpenRouter models to create MP4 clips from text and resume checking generation jobs that were already accepted.
🛡️ Reliability — long-session compaction, conversation switching, reconnect recovery, and Desktop startup and shutdown are smoother. Supported Windows and macOS builds can download updates in the background and install them after confirmation.
Upgrading from 0.5.6: quit Desktop and the Gateway, back up the active profile, and install 0.5.7 over the existing installation. Configuration, chats, Agents, memory, and schedules remain in place; supported database migrations run automatically. Upgrade clients and Gateway together.
